The basic infantry weapon of the company is the
Second Model Land Pattern Musket ("Brown Bess"). Also
in use are the 1776 Pattern British Infantry Rifle and Ferguson
rifle. The musket and Ferguson rifle are each equipped with a
bayonet. The rifleman equipped with the 1776 Pattern rifle carries
a short hanger. |
